Last month we launched a fundraiser to help the people of Ukraine, many of whom were caught in warzones after the Russian government launched a full scale invasion on February 24,2022.
We are happy to report that with the efforts of the entire Gen3 Marketing family we have successfully raised $2,485 USD!
Gen3 Group Fundraiser for Direct Relief: Ukraine
The fundraiser will benefit DirectRelief which is a known and verified non-profit organization that specializes in providing medical aid to people affected by poverty or emergencies.
Health concerns during this time in Ukraine include medical needs for thousands of people that have been internally displaced within the country and many others that have fled into refugee camps that have been established in the neighboring countries of Moldova, Poland, and others.

DirectRelief is working directly with Ukraine’s Ministry of Health and other on-the-ground partners to provide exactly what’s needed for different segments of the population affected by the humanitarian crisis. The graph below shows the statistics of what DirectRelief has already done for the country since the beginning of the conflict.
The fundraiser is coming to a close, but unfortunately the war seems far from over. The Russian government is still bombing cities, their troops are still fighting their way for control of Ukrainian territories.
To some the war in Ukraine may now appear as old news, but we cannot normalize this situation. Please continue to collectively raise awareness about the ongoing humanitarian crisis. Our hearts are with the Ukrainian people and we will keep hoping that, sooner rather than later, this dark chapter will end.
On February 24, 2022, the world watched in horror as the Russian government launched a military invasion in Ukraine. That brought about the biggest humanitarian crisis in Europe since World War II. People’s lives were shattered, and they braced themselves with the sole focus of survival.
With numerous active war zones, in occupied towns and large cities under shelling, infrastructure gradually crumbled, resulting in loss of access to electricity, heating, water, food and medication. Those who were willing and able, abandoned their homes and fled the cities; others have hidden in bomb shelters and in basements with their families. As the conflict continues to unfold, many suffer, including children, the elderly and people with medical and chronic conditions who can no longer receive care or the medicine they require. And that’s just a tip of the iceberg when it comes to all the suffering ensuing from this war.
As a global agency with employees from over 6 continents, this devastating crisis has impacted many lives, including those of our fellow coworkers. With offices located around the globe, including Europe, we continue to feel the impact of this conflict on our colleagues, their families, friends, and the world at large.
As a collective, we are committed to do our part in supporting Ukraine. We’ve carefully selected an organization we believe can make a meaningful and immediate impact to relieve the suffering of those affected by the conflict and current crisis: Direct Relief.
