A look back on 2021 -OAK Digital

As the year comes to an end, we wanted to take a few moments to reflect on what made 2021 a great year. We would like to begin this yearly wrap up by wishing all of our employees, clients, and business partners a wonderful Holiday season! We wouldn't be here without all of you.

2021 Highlights

  • OAK Digital participated in the annual International Performance Marketing Awards receiving 5 nominations, 1 win, and two highly commended categories.

  • We doubled in size growing to a global team of almost 60 team members and over 75 clients, servicing some of the fastest-growing DTC brands in the world.

  • We were acquired by Gen3, one of the pioneers in the affiliate marketing industry, and we are looking forward to the next phase of our growth.

OAK Digital was nominated in 5 different categories at the 2021 International Performance Marketing Awards.

We took home the win for “Best Performance Marketing Campaign - USA” for our work with our client, Boutique Rugs.

Judges comment: “Very well thought out strategy with the division of team ownership and with execution to drive new upper funnel partnerships in a very short timeframe.” We were also Highly Commended in two categories:

  • Best Performance Marketing Agency

  • Best Managed Affiliate Program-USA, for our work with our client, Hairstory.

OAK Digital was also shortlisted in the Best Marketing Strategy category at the SportsPro OTT Awards for its work with FITE, a major player in the Sports and Entertainment Live Streaming industry.

  • Our content team, account managers, and publisher development team worked together to secure an astounding 4,614 mass media hits for OAK Digital clients.

  • At the time OAK Digital first takes over most programs, they tend to have only two publisher types on the program - coupon and loyalty. Thus, OAK account managers focus on diversifying this mix and as a result, the average number of publisher types on OAK Digital clients' programs is eight for 2021.

The OAK Digital Team

2021 was a year of growth and learning experiences.

We created The Acorns, our employee-led social events team who put together some amazing events throughout the year to engage our remote team and strengthen our company culture. Some of these events included Game Nights, Stretch Breaks a Baby Photo Trivia, a Running Challenge, a Halloween Party, a Thanksgiving Celebration with a Gratitude Wall and many more!
